Article: “Finally, India Finds a Lasting Solution to Global Warming”

When I saw this just now I thought, OK, I’ll bite.  What is it?

Plastic waste to fuels.  

Sorry.  There is a lot to like about waste-to-energy, especially when the waste is noxious. But this, with all its iffy technology and huge costs is certainly not a “lasting solution” to anything for 1.37 billion largely impoverished people.

Let’s hope they go ahead with it, because the world will be a better place accordingly, but somebody here is deliberately and grossly over-setting expectations.
