Speculation on Trump’s Mental State
Since long before Trump became president, scads of people, both professional and amateur psychologists, have offered conjecture as to what forms the basis of the U.S. president’s personality. Some of these comments are quick and informal; on the other end, however we have the runaway best-seller Summary of The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump: 27 Psychiatrists and Mental Health Experts Assess a President by Brandy X. Lee, which concludes that the man represents a clear and present danger to everyone on Earth.
Here’s something I thought readers might like; it was taken from an interview with the incredibly articulate whistleblower Edward Snowden:
Donald Trump strikes me as nothing so much as a man who has never known a love that he hasn’t had to pay for. And I think that informs all of his decision making. I think that explains all of the things that we see. This is someone who sees the world through a prism of a very, very sad lens, which is that what he is, who he is, does not today, and never has and never will, have any value. The only thing that matters is what he has, what he can trade. And I think that really explains all of the transactional corruption we have seen throughout this administration; he’s simply someone who thinks that’s what life is.
Wow. Certainly speaks to me.
Craig,
Doesn’t it embarrass you to discover how far your obsessive hatred of the President has led you down such a slippery slope that you now eulogize fringe dwellers, with whom you would once have never associated?
Who cares what 27 malevolent whack jobs who have never met the President think?
Edward Snowden is, by his own admission, an oath breaker, liar, and Traitor to the US. He hides in Putin’s Russia. (a fact you conveniently overlook).
He is not a “whistleblower”, just a misanthropic traitor who gained possession of material to embarrass his nation, and risk the lives of allies.
Is your hatred so great that you applaud the utterings of a traitor protected by a foreign leader, whom you claim is an “evil monster” A murderous tyrant” etc etc ? .
Has your logic become so selective that you accuse President Trump of being in corrupt collusion with Putin, while Putin protects a creature who writes such abusive comments about Putin’s erstwhile “great friend” ?
Putin could simply return Snowden to the US, or better still just dispose of the wretched creature. The fact that this has not occurred, indicates Snowden is still of use to the Kremlin, Russian intelligence and Putin.
