Technofraud
If you’re feeling kind of low and looking for the kind of pick-me-up that only a good piece of technofraud can offer, let me present Genesys. It’s a solar “amplifier” that powers your house with one 200-Watt solar panel, while storing energy as hydrogen for use at night.
“Palo Alto, CA – Genesys, LLC announces today that they received a US Patent for its solar amplifier that can generate very high electrical power in the multiple kilowatt range and run for 24/7 service using only one standard solar panel (200W).”
Craig,
WTF? Technofraud ???
I’m baffled and appalled by your willingness to slander and libel folk purely on the basis of some peculiar delight in being cheered up by the news of someone else being brought low.
I have no idea whether Genesys, LLC and their people are genuine, sincere, deluded or fraudulent.
But, then neither do you ! You advance no evidence to substantiate your claim of the folk being fraudsters (you never do have any evidence about the people you revile or claim to be frauds).
The fact that you undertake no due diligence or even the most cursory investigation, before spitefully attacking these folk and declaring them criminals, is a most unpleasant character flaw in a person who delights in sanctimoniously sermonizing on the flaws in others.
I would agree with you, if you said the claims seem very improbable, and you would take some convincing. That would be a reasonable opinion.
I first learned of this technology when attending the Venture Summit West conference in 2016. By that time Genesys, had been around at least 7 years.
I was impressed by the apparent sincerity, knowledge and dedication of Genesys CEO, Ronny Bar-Gadda.
Ronny Bar-Gadda is an experienced inventor and developer of energy conversion and in-situ chemical generation technology.
Over the years he has completed 12 patents and 5 successful commercialized products.
He was Exxon’s first Biomass Energy Program Manager (Thermal Gasification and Pyrolysis),during which time he developed and commercialized biomass and coal to gasoline technologies, in addition to a widely used catalyst for gasoline reforming.
He also occupied senior management and technical positions at Applied Materials, Mattson Technology, and Philips Research Laboratories.
Most recently, as CEO of Ronal Systems, Mr. Bar-Gadda raised $12 Million and led the development of innovative semiconductor process tools sold to various semiconductor companies. Major investors in Ronal Systems included Intel and Cypress Semiconductor.
Ronny Bar-Gadda earned a Bachelor’s of Engineering from Cooper Union and an M.S.E. from the University of Pennsylvania in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry.holds a Masters Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Engineering and Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Exactly what in this background would make you automatically assume Mr Bar-Gadda to be a fraudster?
I have only spoken to Mr Bar-Gadda for 20 minutes or so and I listened to his presentation at the conference.
Form that brief meeting,I can only speak from my own impression. I would judge Ronny Bar-Gadda as sincere and highly knowledgeable.
Whether his technology is of any merit, I can’t say as it would require too much time and effort to really assess the potential.
However, here’s the challenge for you, either produce your evidence that Ronny Bar-Gadda, and his patented technology is a fraudulent, or withdraw your malicious accusation and apologize!
Shame on you if you do neither!

Robs me of that which not enriches him,
And makes me poor indeed “.
