Reversing the Fair Housing Act

The Trump administration is attempting to reverse Obama-era rules that fight racial discrimination in housing, and it’s also targeting a federal law that’s underpinned the desegregation of American neighborhoods for a half-century known as the Fair Housing Act, which is Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, outlawing refusal to sell or rent a dwelling to any person because of race, color, disability, religion, sex, familial status, or national origin.

Perhaps someone can explain how there is a single person of color who supports Trump.  Yes, the president claims that blacks are faring better economically than they did under Obama, though (astonishingly!) that’s largely untrue.

Then, please go on to shed some light on their preference for Joe “Mass Incarceration” Biden over people like Bernie Sanders.

    Craig,

Banks are not inherently racist institutions, but like all commercial institutions nor are they instruments of social engineering.

Giving credit to non-creditworthy people is irresponsible, and ultimately financially ruinous, as the GFC proved.

President Trump’s administration took a diferent approach, instead of forcing banks to accept non-creditworthy people, he turned previously non-creditworthy people into creditworthy householders.

Obama increased welfare, social workers etc for the unemployed, locking into a poverty trap.

Donald Trump got them a job, optimism, self-reliance and pride.

That why his support among Blacks, especially black women, has increased 36% !

A great example in the contrast of the two ideologies is when a group of young GOP Trump volunteers spent two weeks cleaning up a poor neighborhood.

The local Democrat politician sneered, observing ” It just a stunt! Next wekk the y leave, and what then, they wont be coming back each month to clean up!”.

The Democrat politician didn’t realize it, but he unintentionally proved the disaster of his own policies. No wonder the local community had no sense of pride or commitment. They had been taught to rely of the city or someone else, anyone else, for the predicament of their own making.

It’s no coincidence that America’s 30 worst cities all have Democrat Administrations, riddled with crime and corruption at the highest level.

The blame someone else mentality is prevalent in these cities, where successful cities blame themselves for maladministration.

    Craig,

You might also have noticed, your former hero and fellow Trump democrat Micheal Avenatti, has just been convicted on extortion charges and is awaiting trial on tax, wire, and bank fraud in California and fraud and aggravated identity theft charges.

He’s just the first of many such sleezy individuals and officials whom CNN and NYT elevated to stardom in the anti-trump campaign who has been brought to court.

Over the next few years, more such individuals will be joining Avenatti. But where will be their eager comrades in the media? Ah, they will have moved on to create new fall guys.
