How Does Trump’s Credibility Remain Intact with Anyone?

The meme here raises a very good question: how does this boob have any credibility with anyone?  How in blazes does he pull this off, when no one else on Earth, now or in the past, has spouted raw gibberish on a daily basis and been regarded as anything else than a fool?

This is not to say that there haven’t been terrible world leaders in the past, who have misled their citizenry with lies; check out the speeches of Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, and the rest.  But these harangues don’t contain provably false bullcrap that serves no purpose.  If you don’t know anything about forest management or fire fighting or meteorology or energy, that’s fine, but why make stuff up and ask people to believe it?

One could say, quite correctly, that Kim Jong-un gets away with this too, but keep in mind that his people have no access to the truth.  Doubtlessly, there are other dictators in the world’s banana republics who have this advantage as well.  Americans, by contrast, are deluged with news, and, while it’s sensationalized and slanted to some degree, most of it is factual at its core.

Historians will marvel as to how Trump led the most advanced country on the planet without even the vaguest attempt to communicate rationally and truthfully.
