Trump’s Fate: Unknown
2GreenEnergy supporter and public intellectual Stephen Lacey writes, This is the defining moment of our hyperpartisanship. If Trump can convince Americans that 100,000 deaths is a triumph (it’s very possible), I have absolutely no hope that the tribalist rot in our system can be healed.
Good point. Yet one never knows what could bring Trump down. He’s been impervious to the numerous attacks he’s brought against himself via his bald-faced lies, acts of wanton cruelty, complete lack of empathy, obfuscation, blaming others, extortion, etc.; no matter how deep the fertilizer he finds himself in, he has been consistently able to use these same traits to break the system and manage an exit.
But, as I’ve pointed out before, all undefeated people and teams look indestructible…until they lose. His day will come. What will bring it on is anyone’s guess.
