Understanding Trump’s Appeal in Time of Crisis

As you watch the video below, made by late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel, ask yourself this:

Don’t at least some of Trump’s supporters think it’s a bad idea of the President of the United States to be calling his critics nasty names in the middle of the night when he could be spending his time at least trying to help solve the incredibly numerous and profound difficulties we face as a nation? 

I simply don’t understand how any group of people, regardless of their intelligence level, could consider this legitimate behavior.
