Wisdom Amidst the Pandemic

As I’ve mentioned, one of my best friends from college, Beam Furr, now sports 90% less hair than he did in the mid-1970s, but still has a keen mind and warmhearted manner. From his position on the Broward County (Florida) Commission, he is part of the team tasked with opening businesses as the pandemic slows its growth rate, and, functioning in that capacity, issued the statement at left.

We don’t know how this will work out, because “the answer lies within all of us.”  That’s just beautiful.

Beam, your constituents are lucky to have someone like you, a person of reason and compassion.
