Lawn Improvement

I hate to reprint memes that have egregious grammatical errors in them; here we have “less lawns” where it should be “fewer lawns,” because a lawn is a discrete object.

Having said that, what a great point.  There are few things more enchanting than super-healthy vegetable gardens with lots of different species, fertilized with home-grown compost.

In my composting hey-day, I had a wonderful mixture of my daughter’s hamsters’ bedding, leaves, grass clippings, longhorn manure, fruits, vegetables, peelings, stale bread, coffee grounds and filters, tea leaves, tissues, paper towels, egg cartons, toilet paper rolls, nut shells, corn cobs, fruit and avocados pits and wine corks.  Water and turn once a month.  Rototill into garden soil every spring.
