Biden’s Speech Raises a Question
24.6 million people watched Joe Biden’s speech last night, and a great number of those viewers believed when they tuned in that they were about to see a blithering, senile old fool. Over the past couple of months, I have heard several people repeating the same propaganda line: “Even if he’s elected, how could he possibly complete his term in office when his mental health is so feeble?”
For just under 25 minutes, Biden was articulate, steady, forceful, and on-message. Even Fox News admitted his talk was a “home run.”
So here’s a question: How did all these people feel by the end of the speech? They had seen the videos of Biden stammering, each carefully stitched together to make the candidate appear to be doddering and failing. How did they deal with the fact that they had been completely deceived?
I honestly don’t know, but I do know that if it were I in that position, I would be angry–yes, at the propagandists, but probably more with myself, for being so gullible.
