Stolen Election?
Reader “Tom” sent me this and comments, “And the corpse stinks worse with each passing day. We’re not going to let up on this until ethics are fully in, (and the truth of a stolen election prevails).”
Scottish empiricist David Hume told us, “We always disbelieve the greater miracle,” meaning that, when confronted with a choice between believing in two unlikely concepts, we discard the less likely. In this case, we need to choose between:
a) Trump lost a fair election by 74 electoral college votes (and 7+ million popular votes). This is what the vast majority of senators and representatives (including most Republicans), 60 different courts (including the SCOTUS), the U.S. Attorney General and the Secretaries of States in all 50 states have unanimously told us is true.
or
b) A shrinking handful of extremists tell us that all or most of a) is corrupt and invalid.
Tom, the people who choose b), especially holding onto it now that almost all the “stolen election” people have folded their tents out of sheer embarrassment, are appearing bats*** crazier with each passing day. Even Fox News and Newsmax have backtracked on their claims of voter fraud.
Approximately 2% of the U.S. population are QAnon believers; please tell me you’re not one of them.
