Devouring Today’s GOP On Air
Bashing today’s Republicans, the group from which the party of Lincoln devolved, has never been difficult for intelligent and articulate people, but it’s always great to see it done with such zeal and panache, and especially when it comes from a self-described “NRA conservative” political commentator, in this case, SE Cupp.
It’s a bit over five minutes in length, but to excerpt five seconds at random, Cupp wonders why Fox News chose to mention Dr. Seuss publisher’s decision to remove six of their books from the market due to their overtly racist content…85 times last week, while the rest of us are more interested in getting 100 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine in Americans’ arms and recovering from mass unemployment as soon as possible.
It does seem that Republicans are fixated on fake scandals like Mr. Potato Head and coming to the defense of the (extinct) Neanderthals–just when America is facing very real crises. Does this sound like a winning strategy?
Nikki Haley says that the left is desperately trying to drive the GOP into a civil war. For better or worse, progressives have nothing to do with the harsh realities facing Republicans, which Cupp dubs “The party of stupidity.” To which I would add: hate, cruelty, ignorance, and ultimately, irrelevance.
