Green Consumer Products Gain Market Share – But Which Supply Chain Partners Are Best?
I’ve been writing a great deal about the power of strategic business partnerships recently. And, until this moment, I’ve forgotten to mention one of my most trusted allies and best-respected friends, John Tyson, CEO of Amerivon.
Imagine if you will a conversation between Costco and one of its umpteen thousand (million?) potential suppliers. Costco, with its 600 stores and $53 billion in annual revenues, gets plenty of attention from purveyors of everything from CFLs, vitamins, and smoke detectors to lawn chairs and Newcastle Brown Ale.
But how can the two — a megaretailer and a fledgling supplier — actually connect? And, once they connect, how can they both win?Enter Amerivon, a company whose relationships resulted in a substantial chunk of Costco’s gross last year.
Need financing? Amerivon invests its own money in the majority of the clients it takes on. Need help negotiating prices and terms? With strategic business advice? Supply chain logistics? (This is no trivial feat, btw. Break a promise once and you’ll likely not get a second opportunity.)
Of course, most of the products contemplated here at 2GreenEnergy are not aimed at the consumer directly. But if you’re contemplating one that is targeted in this direction, I hope you’ll let us know. We can help.
Futura holds US patent 6,912,816 for a multiple solar benefit roofing system. This system revives sawtooth type roofing with additional solar benefts: solar thermal, incidental space conditioning, with PV as an option. This system is intended for low profile, commercial buildings and can satisfy a significant portion of the buidings power demand.
Futura Solar has teamed up with Bob Benson of DCM Architecture & Engineering of Camden NJ to build the roof. DCM can fabricate, install and commission.
Advanced Alternative Energy has a line of outside furnaces designed and targeted for the energy concious consumer who is looking for alternative energy that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg to keep cold weather at bay. This green energy technology is they type of thing consumers might seek from farm and ranch supply outlets or others who retail consumer heating products. Hi all,
what ever happened to Muammer Yildiz permanent magnet motor?
Patent No. PCT/EP2008/006459.
This was demonstrated at the Delft University last year.
It supposedly delivered about 250 watts of shaft output power driving a one foot dimeter fan.
The motor was dissasembled in front of University professors and media reporters to show that there were no hidden batteries.
Craig, Would you introduce me to Mr. Tyson? I went to Amerivon website and sent them a note on their contact form. A good word to Mr. Tyson would always help. Costco sold GEM cars with Chrysler back in the late 1990’s in California. Our product, EcoVElectric is a “Superior” Low Speed Vehicle and it is 1000’s of dollars less and much, much better than GEM. Costco would be a great distributor to the private market we want to tap. It would be a potentially good investment for Amerivon as well. I believe that the whole automobile industry is on its last legs with their current paradigms about the car business. This could be a first step to something better. Can you help me? Richard Marks, President of EnVironmental Transportation Solutions.
Hi, Richard. Thanks for writing. Please see my email on this.
We have distribution and marketing rights to a energy conservation device that utilities and NASA have expressed an interest in the product. The unique patented crystal technology at the core of emits light for up to 29 hours after just 8 minutes exposure to daylight or artificial light.Guaranteed to glow for 5 years, but in practice lasts much longer.Unlike many other materials which glow, the unique crystal compound which we have developed for is completely non-radioactive,environmentally safe and biodegradable. There are no running costs. This not only saves the end user money but also means that installation is very simple and requires no particular expertise as opposed to electrical lighting systems.
Key applications include:
Marine safety: boats, rafts, kayaks, hulls, pontoons, jetties, buoys.
Hospital and domestic safety: marking exit routes and other important
areas.
Textiles: glowing fabrics for emergency use, e.g. to indicate escape
routes on planes, fashion items of clothing.
Horticulture and gardening: pathways, ornaments, lighting.
Commercial building and industrial safety, e.g. to delineate road works
and for traffic management.
Mining: pathways and exit routes.
Agriculture: to mark equipment and potentially hazardous obstacles.
Transport industries: road marking, anti-slip step and floor products,
signage, extrusions, floor & wall paints & coatings, aerosol paints,
phosphorescent glass, acrylic chips.
Facts:No Running Costs,Not Radioactive,Fully Biodegradable Charges in 8 mins ,using natural light to recharge,Glows for 29 hours,Lasts for 10 yrs,Meets EU Standards
Inexpensive to buy,Easy to install,Guaranteed to glow for 5 years
We would like to know if Amerivon would be interested in marketing and distributing to mass retailers,
Jacques: Thanks. Please see my email on this.
