Wind Turbines, A Blight?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but I’ll grant that wind farms are less attractive than open areas of land or sea.
Having said that:
Wind farms are cited in areas with exceptional wind velocities, and no one wants to live with howling gales, and
Wind is now almost 9% of the total energy generated in the United States, and it’s growing every year. It is being used to supplant coal, by far the dirtiest energy resource, given its CO2, methane, heavy metals, and radioactive isotopes.
