Thanks to Jason Scorse, Ph.D. For His Contribution to “Is Renewable Really Doable?”

I was lucky to happen across Dr. Jason Scorse in my quest to interview an economist who could shed light on the migration to renewables.

Jason is currently Associate Professor and Chair of the International Environmental Policy Program at The Monterey Institute of International Studies, a graduate school of Middlebury College. He has consulted for numerous environmental organizations, including the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Sierra Club.

I became familiar with his work when I found a video in which he discussed his book, What Environmentalists Need to Know About Economics, published by Palgrave-Macmillan. I like his conversational style, but note that he packs the rigor and discipline that makes his line of thought so compelling.

I am very grateful to Dr. Scorse for his help with the project, and his fascinating perspective on economics and environmentalism.
