Offering Concepts in Sustainable Energy Here Is, In Fact, Preaching to the Choir

Concepts in Sustainable Energy Are, In Fact, Preaching to the ChoirIn response to my recent piece: In Terms of News and Ideas, Most Americans Live on a Bizarre Little Island, my colleague Bob Huff writes: You’re preaching to the choir. I couldn’t agree more. US news is just one new distraction after another to avoid having to address real, resolvable issues (which require an understanding of facts).

Bob: Yes, unfortunately, “preaching to the choir” is an unavoidable aspect of this 2GreenEnergy enterprise; I get unsubscribes from people who think I’m Chicken Little cum Leon Trotsky, or who couldn’t care less about the difference between “inertia” and “momentum,” or what we can learn from Spinoza, or …..whatever. This leaves only people who generally approve of the way I dispense my thoughts on sustainability from a wide variety of perspectives.

When I do live talk-radio shows, however, a lot of this bias disappears, and the environment quickly becomes a great deal more interesting, and I wind up in situations like this one, where a caller referred to me as a cockroach.
