Hard To Put Too Much Credence into Certain New Clean Energy Ideas
As an example of a strange communication between a reader and me, Mark writes:
Hello Craig: You may recall we had some discussions earlier this year regarding an emerging new technology which we believed was going to revolutionize the way power could be produced. Our clients have now finalized an exhibition prototype in which they were able to prove and achieve what was previously thought impossible.
I have attached for your reference a new presentation together with a summary of how the technology works together with our most recent results, you will be able to clearly identify that the airflow motor is now capable of producing more output power than input power. This development has now a monumental impact on the power producing industry, this technology will need further development to be capable of power production on a greater scale however the process by which it can generate power will have the greatest impact to the industry and the process by which it works will have limitless application.
I would like to arrange a call to you to discuss this opportunity further once you have had a chance to review the (linked above) material. I look forward to hearing from you.
Mark: Yes, I remember speaking with you. Come on, this is asinine. I don’t want to scold you, but all this is saying is that neither you nor this guy have any education in science. If you were telling me you had a way to bring people back from the dead, that would have far more credibility with me.
OK, please shoot a video of the prototype in action and send it to me.
You strike me as an honest, decent person. Don’t waste your life pursuing a belief in stupid garbage like this. I don’t see a career in physics in your future, but there are tons of rewarding paths that go in any of hundreds of different directions.
